Lane1Media has officially launched.

We created Lane1Media to be a space for track & field that goes beyond results and headlines — a platform built around stories, ideas, and the people who make the sport what it is.

Track & field has never lacked talent or dedication, but too often the voices inside the sport go unheard. Athletes train for years, experience highs and lows, and develop perspectives that rarely make it beyond their immediate circles.

Lane1Media exists to change that.

This platform is built around original storytelling, honest conversation, and community involvement — created in our own lane.

What Lane1Media Is

Lane1Media is a track & field media platform centred around three main areas:

Lane1Articles

Lane1Articles is where we publish written pieces about the sport — athlete stories, opinions, reflections, and ideas that deserve space and attention.

Some articles will come from us.

Many will come from athletes and contributors across the sport.

If you have something meaningful to say about track & field, there is a place for it here.

Social Content & YouTube

Lane1Media is also a platform for user-generated content.

We want to showcase the sport through the people living it — from everyday training to competition experiences and personal reflections.

This includes:

  • Training videos

  • Competition footage

  • Athlete stories

  • Reflections and insights

  • Behind-the-scenes moments

  • Conversations about the sport

Content shared on Instagram or YouTube may be featured across Lane1Media platforms.

You don’t need a big following to contribute.

You just need something genuine to share.

Lane1Magazine

The first edition of Lane1Magazine is now underway.

Lane1Magazine will be our flagship digital publication — a curated online magazine released throughout the year, exploring the culture, stories, and people within track & field.

This first edition is being built right now — and we want athletes and contributors to be part of it.

We are currently looking for:

  • Athlete stories

  • Personal reflections

  • Training insights

  • Visual submissions

  • Photo contributions

  • Editorial ideas

  • Athlete profiles

  • Unique perspectives on the sport

Lane1Magazine is designed to be built with the sport, not just about it.

Built With Athletes and the Community

Lane1Media is not a closed platform.

We want athletes at every level to be involved — from emerging competitors to experienced athletes who have been in the sport for years.

You don’t need to be elite.

You don’t need a large audience.

If your story adds value to the sport, we want to hear from you.

Track & field is at its best when the community is involved, and Lane1Media is designed to reflect that.

How to Get Involved

If you’d like to be part of Lane1Media, there are several ways to contribute:

  • Submit an article idea for Lane1Articles

  • Contribute to Lane1Magazine

  • Share UGC for social media or YouTube

  • Pitch a story or feature

You can get in touch through the website:

Or message us directly on social media.

Just the Beginning

Lane1Media is only getting started.

Over time we plan to expand Lane1Magazine, publish more athlete stories, and build a platform that reflects the real depth of track & field.

But everything begins with the community.

If you have a story to tell, this is the place to tell it.

Welcome to Lane1Media.

In our own lane.
